In 2001, as Technical Manager of the research project was funded by the European Union to develop a pilot Electronic Procurement System.
Today GNOMON applies the one and only eProcurement platfotm for Tender and Contract Administration for the 4th Health Region of Macedonia Thrake, evolving and adapting innovative eProcurement solutions in greek reality.
Gnomon Informatics as Technical Manager of the project OPUS, developed a system that applied combinatorial techniques, of reverse electronic auctions under a pilot Integrated Supply Management for Health.
GNOMON's experience in eProcurement, is not over yet. In 2010, the gi9.eProcurement platform is used for the electronic integration of National Health Procurement and Services Programme and the National Medicine Procurement Programme for the whole health sector in Greece.
The eProcurement solution provided by GNOMON is the first eProcurement product of Health Sector in Greece.
